Abstract

The phenomena of imputation around emotions have been addressed by criminal law from an individual level. But what happens when the stimuli received by the social environment cause collective emotions that overwhelm the consciousness of thousands of people, causing death and desolation? This case was presented on April 9, 1948 in Bogotá and spread throughout Colombia: ¡el Bogotazo! To examine this case, the topic will be approached from sociology, neuroscience, psychiatry and criminal law from the area of guilt.
