The materialization of the protection of consumer rights since the judicialization of the administrative function of the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce
Abstract
In Colombia, the responsibility for exercising jurisdictional functions primarily lies with the judiciary, although the principle of harmonious collaboration among the branches of government also grants certain administrative authorities the power to administer justice inspecific areas. This article focuses on the jurisdictional competences assigned to certain administrative authorities such as the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, alongwith other entities like the Financial Superintendence of Colombia and the National Health Superintendence, to whom Article 116 of the Constitution confers these functions, albeit in
a limited scope.
